I can’t count how many times I’ve been told to assume good intent when someone says or does something messed up at work. And sure, I get it, don’t jump to conclusions. But when you’ve been burned enough times, it starts to feel like you’re being asked to ignore red flags for the sake of being a team player. I’ve had people lie, undermine, and manipulate only for leadership to tell me I need to be more understanding. At what point does giving grace just mean setting yourself up to be walked all over? How do you protect your peace without becoming jaded?

Things are apparently going to get better after a client will be leaving, I’ll get to work on different brands but I am feeling pretty burnt out from the agency I’m at. Will new clients help? Or should I look elsewhere. Been at the agency almost 3 years, I feel like I need to switch things up for my sanity.
