I'm currently in Tech Sales. However, I want to work with FAANG; it's literally my greatest dream. I have a UX Design Cert from General Assembly that I earned last year.
After months of applications and rejections, I left and got into tech sales because I knew I'd easily get a job and bills had to be paid.
I think I failed to get jobs because of a lack of visual design skills (my specialties were in project management and user research), and weak portfolio. What should I do?

Hey Fishes,
I am currently in an Automation testing role in paytm with overall 4 yoe.
I would like to know what to prepare for FAANG. Planning to invest a year in preparation.
Also, what role I would be eligible for or should I apply considering 5 yoe by the end of next year.
Please enlighten me

For the guy at Apple who left consulting for FAANG, found out it was hard to be a PM, and is upset that he “only made like $100k more” for this move.
I have been reading a few articles talking about how FAANG isn’t as lavish as it used to be. My first question is if that is true? If it is true, my second question is what companies out there have the pay, benefits, and perks like FAANG? My last question is if it is as difficult to get into those companies? I just got a 3 month contract offer as Senior Paid Social Strategist at Meta through a staffing agency. I have a fte with an early stage social commerce startup atm. It’s great pay but the current climate for startup fundraising is so uncertain.
I’m really conflicted between the two. On the one hand, a name like Meta would be a great resume booster (I’ve never worked for a FAANG or big ad agency.) On the other hand, 3 months at a shaky Meta could also leave me in no man’s land. Thoughts? Facebook (Meta)
Is Apple the last FAANG standing?
Hi Everyone,
Happy Diwali and Halloween!
I have been working as a consultant for the past 2 years and looking to make a switch to product management in a company that has a strong product culture such as FAANG or series A/B startups. Would anyone be interested in providing a referral or share key skillsets that can help me be successful? Thanks so much! 🙏🏼💯
