I’m a senior associate at a v10 firm considering an in-house senior compliance position at a pharma company. Seems like a good fit and a good opportunity. It checks all my boxes but I’m worried about being pigeonholed in compliance and not being competitive for legal roles down the line. In practice, this job would involve both legal and compliance work but I’d sit in compliance. Has anyone had any issues going from a compliance role to a counsel role, particularly in healthcare?

Currently working in rwe consulting at a healthcare firm. What’s the chances of moving into a more general strategy consulting role at tier 1/2 firm, would I have to join at an entry level or would a senior associate / junior consultant role be plausible?

Currently at 220k base (4-6% annual bonus, 9% 401k match) at a company, and want to bring me on at the Senior Associate level (lol I know, I know).
