I gave up a remote role for more money, and I totally regret it. The money isn't worth what you lose in time and productivity, and I'm beating myself up for not realizing it till it was too late. Now I'm spending my nights trying to recover what I lost. Anyone else learning this lesson the hard way?

If it’s any comfort, fully remote roles are very vulnerable to layoff and stunt career progression. While the short term impact on quality of life is unfortunate, you are likely way better off in the long run. If you are able to save that additional salary, run it through a calculator to see what it will be worth in retirement.

It really depends on the situation. I was able to move from an in-person role to a fully remote one and ended up with about a 50% salary increase. I’m probably more the exception than the rule, though.

I work for a large international company where roughly 30% of the workforce is fully remote and around 80% is hybrid.

I think a big part of it for me was going from an in-person role in a smaller city (around 100k people) to a much larger company. Fortune 500 US to Fortune 100 global.

Is there any chance you could go back to the previous role? I turned down an 16% pay increase to keep my remote job, and this was back when remote was still more common. I'm glad I made the choice I did because money truly isn't everything.

I did the same thing but not for more money. I was lonely being remote. But sometimes I regret my decision.

Fortunately, my trade off was worth it.

Can someone help me with this? I had a low utilization since pandemic, I.e., ~sub 5%, but never missed any payments. Would credit score be impacted if only one line of credit with a low utilization?

Too few accounts currently paid as agreed

Scores consider the number of accounts that are paid as agreed. Your score was impacted because the number of these accounts is too low, or because you've missed payments recently on some of your accounts.

What is the salary range for Consultants/Managers with 9+ years of exp (FICO support & roll out) in DI? Also, what is the designation one can expect with this much of experience?

I’ve been a family caregiver for four years, and now look to return to the workforce. I realize that this will be a bit difficult, especially during these economic conditions, plus other factors, such as being an older employee, etc. I updated my account with a few job sites, adding on the fact that I took time off to care for a family member. I would appreciate some advice, anything that would be helpful.
