I’m looking to leave consulting. But a McKinsey recruiter reached out to me recently about interviewing. I just don’t have the passion to go through case interviews and then actually work in another consulting company as a PPT monkey. Am I crazy ?

Age 35, salary is $160K but due to poor financial planning/management in my 20s, I have not been able to save as much as I maybe should have by now. $52K in liquid cash, $54K in 401K+IRA, $30K in pension - that’s it. Any advice from folks who may have been in a similar situation and got in better shape financially from here on?
