I have observed discriminatory behaviour in Cognizant to women. Management does nothing, female leaders seem to be leaving and exec board says “we are run by meritocracy, if we can’t hire more women is because we don’t have enough female candidates with the right skills”. Most of my female colleagues are afraid of retaliation if reporting. Has anyone had similar experience in the company? Did you report? Cognizant

So.... Design tests being part of the hiring process. How does everyone feel about these? I’ve run into them a few times while applying for work and spent weekends working on them with no hire by the end of the process. In a way I can see why they do it - but I’m also weirded out that my portfolio just isn’t enough. What’s everyone’s take? And does anyone do this in their hiring process?

Over the course of 6 weeks, I had several panel interviews and the next step was a final in-person interview. Each round I had great feedback and my correspondence with the company recruiter was consistent and friendly. Until now. After a week of radio silence since my last interview, I sent a gentle polite follow up that has gone unanswered for almost a week. I saw that the original JD was reposted on LinkedIn a few days before my last interview (ugh). Am I being ghosted? So confusing.

Hey everyone! Wanted some advice - got an offer from a big ad agency for a Planning Manager role. Base salary is $90K (more than satisfactory, I have 2.5-3 years of total agency exp), but their PTO is severely lacking especially compared to my unlimited PTO benefit at my current job - they offered 10 actual PTO days, which are even prorated since it's mid-year. Assuming their PTO allowance is negotiable, any advice for how to handle the email follow-up to the written offer/how much to ask for?
