I just found out that a new hire with less experience than me is making $20k more than my current salary. When I brought this up to my director, he said pay transparency isn't professional and implied I should be happy with what I have. I’ve been here for three years, stayed late, and hit every KPI, yet they’re paying the new guy a premium just to get him in the door. It’s the ultimate slap in the face and a clear sign that loyalty means nothing to this company. Would you start job hunting immediately?

This is the unfortunate norm, unless you are constantly moving companies you are leaving money on the table. I have accepted this in exchange for stability.

No company is going to give you a raise because someone else is making more than you. They will give you a raise because they need you, and will lose you without it. That doesn't sound like leverage you have at this company. You deserve to be paid fair market value and it sounds like the only way for you to do that is to start job hunting.

Hi everyone, I had a major surgery and am looking to find a remote position involving anything that isn’t 100% commission based or cold calling/agent positions. Looking to make $25-35 an hour, and have had long term positions such as Clinical Secretary & Receptionist/Administrator, Accounts Payable Clerk, Team Lead, and Sales Associate. I’m willing to try new things and am a very quick learner, and can handle multitasking and high pace. Does anyone know of any good work from home positions?

Senior revving up to manager promo. Only nervous about one thing at the manager level which is having to answer pointed “Why??” questions from higher up clients on live calls. What are your thoughts on revisiting places you've already been vs going somewhere new? My 'to-visit' list is so long, but I've really been itching to get back to a few old favorites like Ireland and Germany. How do you decide?

I’m a senior at a mid tier and been working about 70-75 hours for last 3 weeks on a SEC client. Now I roll off to a new job but the manager wants me to come back and help out the team more. Should I do it? I don’t want to fail at both jobs. Is that even reasonable to ask someone to work on both jobs?
