Made EP. But I want to be an executive, SVP or managing director. My current FT role offers tuition reimbursement. Wondering if I should make them pay for an MBA. How many agency heads have one?
Best credit card to earn rewards for all my weekly expenses? ( I’m per diem so I charge all my meals personally)
The worst, most ridiculous position you have been headhunted for? I’ll start - a part time position (20 hr per week), $15~20/hour (depending on experience), no benefits. I politely turned it down.
As an entry level analyst is it better to enroll in the Pre-Tax or Roth 401k ? What are the benefits of each?
I heard that the big accounting firms are using covid as an excuse to cut benefits despite some firms actually growing during covid. Is this true? If its true thats kinda sad theyre using covid as excuse to increase profitability at the expense of employees. Seems like a pretty obvious lie.
Over the past 6 months, I’ve been tracking my per diem. I got $41/day in CLT and $45/day in Minneapolis. I have not changed my eating habits at all. Over the past 6 months, I have made ~$300/month

Saw my dad’s taxes and I’m not sure how my parents are making ends meet. He stopped contributing to 401k and they are using retirement savings. I want to help but I have no idea how. Suggestions?
Hey Benefits Express: change HCRA (Health Care Reimbursement Account) to a less misleading title. Name implies it's like an HSA, but is definitely an FSA. Been waiting on a non-existent 1099-SA form.
All, my wife is pregnant and we are expecting our first child soon. My wife’s job has standard unpaid 12 weeks maternity leave. Is it likely I’ll be able to take 2-3 months or is that just “you have it but can’t take it” policy where I’ll be penalized at year end?
What to know when exiting? Best time of the month, things to settle, healthcare stuff, benefits, etc.
How many of your have kept their CSR and not switched to another card since it’s launch in 2016? Tempted to switch as I’ve used all CSR benefits including a vacation.

Are exit opps hurt if you switch from B4 to a National firm? I’ve been at EY for a year, but I am not getting literally any exposure to anything else except 1065 compliance for 1 or 2 clients and leadership has refused to budge. I really don’t want to stay in tax forever so a smaller firm with more clients, broader services seems better, no?

My partner and I may be relocating in the next year or so for his job. I finally made the move in-house last year making my tenure at my current company about 1 year. My previous firm experiences have been very toxic with the last firm I worked for causing so much unneeded stress that it caused my health to take a substantial hit. I don’t think the company I work for will allow me to move and work fully remote. Two questions: (continued in post)

I sometimes hang out at nearby hotel bars when I'm home. Because it feels comfortable. And it's socially acceptable to be there alone. Pathetic? A bit. But it works for me.
Who are the big players in AI and Machine Learning for healthcare analytics? Thinking of making a switch
Fear of being laid off (at 50) is so all enveloping that it’s affecting my health and sleep. I have a pit in my stomach all the time. Sitting alone at home (single) knowing if I’m on the list I’ll never get hired again. And not enough savings for the next three years let alone forty. Decision makers: when you lay somebody off you are condemning them to years of unemployment. fight not to do it.
Anybody know anything about CohnReznick's advisory practice? Got reached out to by a headhunter regarding a manager position in their cyber advisory practice, but I don't know anything about them.

Reading through some of the recent posts about associates being mistreated by partners, paralegals, etc., I feel majority of partners or snr. associates advise to basically tolerate being “bullied”, by recommending the OP to be the bigger person, or just ignore things, but why? Why can’t we raise a a generation of attorneys who can stand up for themselves? A wrong is a wrong, even more so when done by a superior. Rarely people in senior positions recommended having a direct convo. Why?
Currently a second year associate (post MBA role) at McKinsey. Got 7 years experience in total plus 2 years MBA. Google recruiter quoting a level 4/5 role. Does that seem right?
