I have applied to several positions up Google. I have not heard anything back at all. No matter if I customize my résumé to the job description I still don’t hear anything back. I am wondering as to why Google ghost people instead of just telling them that they didn’t get the job? Do people on Google believe it is appropriate for the recruiters just a ghost people especially if they feel they don’t match the job?

Anyone who describes themselves as or aspires to be a "thought leader" is someone I have no interest in connecting with. I'm convinced the only people that hype the importance of doing this are the ones with a $99 course to sell that'll teach it to you.
I just don’t think it applies to the average person. If you are aiming to be CEO one day, maybe that helps.
I think it’s a good idea because it effectively helps others to see how good you are. Just write about what you think is interesting
Honestly I think it can be a bit risky to start putting “thought leadership” out there on LinkedIn.
