Hi All, My sister has done Computer Science engineering Bachelor degree and has 5 years of work experience in India. She is applying for MBA at https://www.kenan-flagler.unc.edu/programs/mba/full-time-mba/ and https://kelley.iu.edu/programs/full-time-mba/academics/majors-minors/marketing.html. Her overall goal is to get into Software Product management. Any suggestions if any of these MBA’s can open path in the desired space or if she is better of doing an MS in Comp engg. to further develop deeper Technology skills. Thanks

Practice recording yourself on your phone answering sample interview questions until you can do it calmly and succinctly. When I have a screen like that I sit at an L shaped desk and lay out my resume and accomplishment statements for the required qualities or experiences based on the job description. I also have my branding statement and bullet points for why I am interested in the job/company. I highlight key words so they stand out and I can quickly gaze down to get a reminder. Once completed I write down the questions that I recall (for future reference) and then let it go. It’s done.
Based on what I know, HireVue and other video interviewing technology allow HR to screen candidates of all backgrounds and at scale. It screens candidates based on video (body language), audio (communication), and answer (content of response). If you feel that you have performed poorly, I am sure others have felt it as well. Don't feel bad and continue interviewing. I don't have perfect interviews either but sometimes luck works in your favor. Always strive to improve and you will eventually get a second round.
Hi, i would love insights as well. I have given plenty of those, but with a low success rate of getting a 2nd round.
A lot of people sometimes take the first attempt to simply practice and jot down some notes. There’s no time limit before starting your next attempt so you can take your time. Other than that have an idea of what you want to say but don’t sound robotic and show some emotion!
