How’s the Las Colinas area for a 25 year old with no kids? Is it more for families or is it okay for someone my age? Not looking to be in the city but within a reasonable drive if I need to be there.

36F Las Vegas. Alllllllll my friends are in relationships or tied down with kids. I was and ran for the hills (minus the kids). 😮‍💨 That was 3 years ago though 😅. I moved to the US from another market and I want to know if I am really working what is expected for a big las associate. My regular work week is two days from 8:30 to 7:30-8, one day late until 11 or so, one day early 8:30 to 6:30. Fridays I try to be done by 5:30 and I usually work either one week or afternoon over the weekend. That's most weeks of the month. usually there is one week a month that is busier. Besides that I am always checking emails, sending quick replies until 10-10:30 PM.

I’m not too read into the issue, so would love to hear ideas. What are peoples thoughts on revamping federal student aid programs? I feel like there has to be a way to offer incentives for people to study subjects where there are job opportunities - maybe some annual assessment defines these majors. Not dissuading people from LAs (I’m one of them), but I feel like 17 yr olds don’t really understand that if you’re a interpretive dance major, you’ll have a much harder time paying back your loans.
