I majored in mechanical engineering and realized I didn't like it too late to quit. I want to do something analytical, thought of business analysis or data analysis, but those roles require a business or data related degree. I also don't know much about them to pursue the career or even decide. Plus, I'm scared to go into a very niche field and end up struggling to find a job. What can I do to pivot and where should I go? NB I'm lebanese.

I am the only developer in my team and my manager has assigned me a project in which I need to create a tool from scratch although that is currently running in production build by third party and we don't have access to that code.

I am on notice period and I am 100% sure that project won't be completed before my LWD.
