Hi All,

I have joined IBM in July 2022. I haven't got any project till now. Skill set is PySpark, AWS, Spark, Hadoop, Hive, SQL. 2 Project interviews are done and they haven't considered my profile.

I have 7years total and 2.3 years Relevant Experience is there. Monday I have one project interview for Production support project. Is it good to go with Support project or shall I wait for a development role? Is it tough to get a project in IBM if you're hired a pool resource?

I have a videocon interview this week. BigLaw-to-BigLaw. I’m interested in the job, but don’t feel strongly about it. Obviously, I would look presentable no matter what. But do I wear a suit and tie??? I just feel so silly about it. And I’m imaging the hiring partner in t-shirt/jeans on the other side.

QUESTION FOR ALL THE RECRUITERS:

I’ve applied for multiple roles on LinkedIn where my experience and creative work match the job description. However, I’m not getting any interviews… NOT A SINGLE ONE. What could be a possible reason for this? Is anyone here willing to jump on a call and help me understand what I am doing wrong?

I am currently interviewing for one of the FAANG companies. If this works out, I will be 6-7 months pregnant by the time I actually join them. Should I disclose this while I interview? Or should I disclose after accepting the offer?

I am a Business Intelligence Developer with 4 years of Experience in Power BI, MS SQL, SSRS, SSIS and SSIS. I've also cleared the PL 300(Microsoft Certified Power BI Data Analyst Associate).

To give or not give an excuse for being out 1-2 hrs for an interview on a WFH day? I almost never take time off so am worried if I say doctor, they’ll want proof.

Hi all, looking for some career advice: applied to a consulting firm on Feb’22. Got great feedback but didn’t get selected. I had some conversations with a partner she told me “you were great, we are just small right now”.

A couple weeks back they’ve opened their process again, I reached out to HR and I am interviewing. Question is: would you reach out to the partner? What would you say? I don’t know if I should message an FYI or something so that she knows I’m still interested. Pls help!!

I was laid off from Deloitte in the 18th. I have an interview with Amazon for a Senior Program Managers Non Technical position with Amazon hiring manager on Monday. Any advice would be much appreciated. I would love to get into Amazon. I hear their interview process is brutal.

Had an interview with KPMG (manager) for an FRM Consultant position about three weeks back, she mentioned that I'd be a great addition to the team and is excited to work with me but I haven't heard back anything since. On contacting HR I got the standard "we'll let you know" response.
What do you guys think? Any hopes for me? What do you think went wrong after a solid interview if no?

Need P1 advice
I joined LTI in March and got tagged to a brand new client. Until yesterday PM told that project will start soon and their is delay from client end. But today he confirmed that project is cancelled and now I'm just floating in employee's pool. What should I do in this situation? Why did they hire if they didn't have project confirmed. Its been more than 2 months and I already feel I'm forgetting my skills. This is so depressing. Havent been allocated since joined LTI.
