I noticed when I was making less as a retail merchandiser I had more time to do things I love and now that I make more I barely have time to do things for myself. Do y’all feel like the more you make money the less time you have for yourself?

I work for a specialized group in my litigation group and have had a wonderful experience and really respect and appreciate my boss, the co-chair of this specialized group. I’ve now accepted the opportunity to take over my parents business and plan to leave practice this summer. How do I even start this conversation with him? I’m sure I care a lot more than the group does, but I feel like because he went out of his way to really mentor and bring me into his group, i feel bad.
