WLB is solid at Humana, and pay is also fine. This probably varies by area, it’s a big place.

Probably just stay as a life time consultant? Lol

None of them pay as well as consulting tbh, WLB usually would be better but will be team dependent (came from the payer side to consulting); plus, payers notoriously have terrible insurance deductible/monthly premium costs. Cheapest insurances there at most usually have a deductible around $7500 (and you’re still paying $25-$50 for the cheapest HDHP one), one of the many reasons I had to leave the payer side lol
Go to a digital health startup - they pay for top talent these days. You'll get paid better than at a payer or a provider. If you get equity that ends up meaning something it may also be better than consulting.

Blue Shield of California has good comp, okay benefits, and great WB; however you must live in California and be cool with their bureaucracy.

Same as most other large payers, I’ve worked at other ones.
If you like being part of a big org and if you like following only set procedures, it’s a great gig. No me works more than 20-40 hours on a regular basis, esp as lots of folks are for-lifers in the payer space.
