I recently applied for a role I’m genuinely interested in. The hiring manager’s name was included in the ad, so I found her on LinkedIn and sent a connection request, which she accepted. I’m new to the Australian job market and have heard that reaching out to hiring managers can sometimes help. The job closed only yesterday, so would it be appropriate to message her, or is it too early? If yes, how can I do it without sounding pushy?
