5000 apps with nothing back usually means the resume is getting filtered before a human ever sees it, not that you’re unemployable or anything. I’d stop blasting the same file everywhere and do 3 ugly tests: check if your resume is 1-column, no tables/images, and if the top third has the exact keywords from the job post.
I had a friend go from ghosted nonstop to getting callbacks once she realized Workday was mangling her headings and her bullets were too generic. Also worth pulling a few recent job descriptions and matching your bullets to the words they actually use, especially for tools, systems, and certifications.
If you want a faster sanity check, something like ResumeJudge or Jobscan can show whether the issue is keyword match vs ATS parsing, which saves a ton of guessing. What kind of roles are you applying to, and are they all using the same resume or are you tailoring per posting?
