I’m the type of person who tries to balance my work and personal life.. if that means occasionally staying late to finish or help out then that’s fine. However someone on my team will always stay extra hours and log in on weekends even when there’s no work. Other people in my team find their behaviour is creating unfair expectations for management, but I try not to let it change my work ethic. Have you ever experienced this?

I’m trying to pivot to PM after >3 years in finance and I have a 2nd round interview with CPO this week. Company has 3.7 on Glassdoor with complaints about CEO, “bro-y” culture, and hard to wfh. It’s a data analytics company with 5 PMs, was bought by a PE firm this year, and has a new (female) CEO as of Oct. Role is 50/50 hybrid, pays well vs what I make, and most importantly would be a foot in the door to PM. Is this a good place to be for PM? What else do I need to find out to know for sure?
