Of course salaries are related to job satisfaction. That's just basic. If someone is making a salary that makes them feel fairly compensated it should keep morale up. If they feel they're not appreciated, and the paycheck confirms it, morale suffers. Simple as that.

I completely agree, Fair compensation is crucial for job satisfaction. When people feel undervalued, it naturally impacts their morale. It's a straightforward connection.
Pro
I think it has a direct impact as we are all working for money.
Unfortunately the companies are usually thinking of their own profit not staff satisfaction mainly because last few years job market has been very competitive.

Oh man, I could not agree more. Salaries are absolutely tied to job satisfaction, and pretending otherwise is just corporate gaslighting at this point. I mean, sure, the “we’re like a family here” and “you’re making a difference” speeches are nice for a while, but when you’re stressing about rent going up another 10%, groceries costing a fortune, or watching your student loans barely budge, no amount of pizza parties or “kudos” in the Teams channel fixes that. It eats at you. You start resenting the job, counting down the minutes till you clock out, and quietly applying elsewhere. I’ve felt that burnout creep in way faster when I knew I was underpaid compared to when my paycheck actually felt fair.
Agree. Pay directly impacts my morale and motivation. If I’m not paid fairly or not rewarded at the end of the year with a raise it’s insulting and demoralizing.
Many people are looking for new jobs now so the competition is steep. I think it’s more difficult now to find the pay range you want.
