I am work from home. Go to the office maybe 3 times a year. Went for planning, the next time will be a retirement party.
I still see some remote job posting BUT no idea if they are actually remote and if they are worth it by any means. I feel like at this point I just need to be self employed if I have any hope of working at home or a flexible schedule. It’ll be interesting to see if remote work comes back once/if the market shifts.

HEAVY on the “if it’s worth it”. If you have any ideas of self employment you should def pursue it! Started my business last year and no where near being self employed BUT it does bring a deep satisfaction

Fully WFH gigs definitely still exist, but they’re getting harder to find. A lot of companies are pushing hybrid, but if remote is a must for you, it’s still doable, just takes more searching. Have you looked at remote-first companies? A few off the top of my head are Affirm and Help Scout. But there are other companies that are committed to remote only roles and teams.

I think I just needed to hear its still out there haha. You’re right though when you want to WFH on top of salary needs it will definitely take time!
I am going to check out Affirm and Help Scout! Thank you
I def WFH fully
I’m a credentialed systems trainer for a hospital btw
My company is for US consultants only
Hey there can you please drop a website for US consultants. I know someone that needs a job in Atlanta Georgia
I go into the office once a quarter which I think is as close to remote as I’m going to get 😅
Hi, I'm moving to the Atlanta area from NC in April to be near family, and I am able to live anywhere I want (in the Eastern time zone) because I am fully remote. There are a ton of tech jobs here in Raleigh that are fully remote. The ones that are hybrid are usually either one day a week or one week a quarter.
My company is in central NY, and I fly up when necessary. That happens about three times a year, and I go for a week. It's fantastic. My hubs also works fully remote, for a LabCorp subsidiary. So don't give up.
Thanks can please post names of companies or websites that are hiring remote workers for it support?

As someone who needed to find a remote job a few months back, it is definitely hard but not impossible. Give yourself more time for the search. My current role took some time to find but was well worth the wait.
Some Companies have an in-office requirement but it may not apply to more niche teams. My team is super small and spread out across the country so they see no need to force us to come in since none of us actually work in the same city.

Could you drop the info to your firm? Please!

Yes & lowkey yes lol
Truly remote positions seem far and few outside of customer service/call center types

And a lot of time they get filled through referral!
I WFH full time and I am also looking for a new gig & it is rough out here. I’m open to going in Hybrid, but not sure if I want to stay in Atlanta. I think this job market is tough regardless of the office requirement

Consulting firms still have WFH primarily big 4 and their peers not MBB.
Yes, although o wouldn’t necessarily suggest government contracting at this moment in time.
i pretty much work from home, but I am doing like 60h a week currently.
