I haven't heard of that as being a common practice. I imagine if you have your LinkedIn on your resume, people may see your profile photo anyway. My instinct is that the space a photo takes up would be better spent on text, but I don't know, maybe it is becoming a common thing.
Still not standard in most industries (and can even lead to bias concerns), but it depends on the field! Creative roles, modeling, or international markets? Maybe. Corporate jobs? Probably not. I’d skip it unless explicitly asked..let your skills and experience do the talking!
I don't think thats standard and I wouldn't include a photo personally. I don't see very many resumes with photos on them so I think its still considered tacky to be honest.
Oh no, it’s still extremely tacky unless you’re in the entertainment field or in some job where your looks matter don’t include a headshot on your résumé if employers care to look up on LinkedIn, but no whatever you do not put your headshot on your résumé
