Hi All, a slightly tricky question on when I can move to US - wife is in US and expected to have her PERM / I-140 approved in 3 mos. I am currently working outside US and have a valid H-4 visa. I was thinking of traveling to US when she has I-140, apply for H4 EAD, go back to my country and continue work. Once have H-4 EAD, leave job and move to US. Is this feasible or do I have other options so that I can reunite with wife asap after I-140 but also not have a big unemployment gap. I am ROW

Mom is getting a big orthopedic surgery in a few weeks. She has some risks and I’ve not been sleeping. BF needs to be down in Miami the day before the surgery for work, but could fly back the day of to support me.
