Is it stupid for me offer a pay cut to keep my job and benefits? Would the agency higher ups be even open to that if offered? I know it might sound stupid, but just thinking about my family.

Potential offers incoming from Gartner (AE), Salesforce (BDR), and a promising SaaS start up (BDR). Currently an AM at a IT services and staffing org. Want to get away from staffing regardless, but want to stay within technology. Unsure how to rank each opportunity.
Gartner lacks technology but I feel the skills I could learn would be invaluable and be a great resume add. Anyone ever been in the same boat? Or know how the benefits for SF and Gartner stack up?

Do I need to call and cancel my health insurance when I change jobs? Just selected my benefits at the new company and know I am covered at EY until the end of the month.

Thoughts on job offer for Senior Financial Analyst, private equity, pre IPO tech company in central London? Likely to IPO soonish. 73K GBP base salary, 4% employer pension contribution, ~120k USD worth of RSUs vesting over 4 years (note tech industry is going through a bad spell and that the RSUs are probably worth less right now)?

I have about 3 years of FP&A experience and 3 years Reporting & data tools (ETL cubes, bit of SQL..) experience for American corporates.

How good are your districts at negotiating contracts on time? Ours expire every two years. At the end of the second year we always end up going into the next school year on an expired contract and work almost the entire school year on that expired contract. It’s not that we are asking for the moon, usually our raise is about the same as the rising price of healthcare, so it ends up being a wash. The workload only increases.The district also made us put in a “no strike” clause in our contract.

Manage $10 million+ in equity l/s structure with 1/3 of the 20% performance fee and a 100k base unattached to large/reputable org or stay at stable FO job making 70k with full benefits and clear career trajectory? Thoughts? 24YO F

I graduated in May 2020 and found myself excepting a Junior Art Director position in Healthcare. I never saw myself in health but with many agencies having hiring freezes I decided to get some experience and save up some money in the meantime. Fast forward one year; I’ve added a new campaign to my website and I’m starting to apply to consumer agencies again.

I’ve been working under a partner (white man) since I first joined the firm. At first, I thought he was just a tough partner with high expectations but now I think he might be an outright bully. More and more often his comments and edits to my work feel personal. When I turned in as assignment last week he berated me for not coming to him at the outset before drafting. Today, when I called him to ask for his guidance on a new assignment he brushed me off and told me to “figure it out.”
