What's the salary range for a fidelity VP?

Could someone tell me how much a VP in Prime Brokerage base and bonus percentage would typically make?

A VP threatened to demote me and dock my salary for wanting to switch departments after working under her for a year and a half. She said I had to work for her for 2 years before I could transfer internally. This was her rule, not written in the employment contract.

Thoughts on going in-house for a high level creative role? I’ve only worked at agencies and generally like it, but curious to hear of anyone esp at ECD/VP creative level who did the switch. For a well known brand, does cool stuff and would offer a good comp package.

Hi. I have 20+ years of experience both in consulting and in-industry. I have a contact at McKinsey that I connected with that is willing to make an introduction/referral for me. A few questions: 1). What level should I be targeting. I’m willing to take a lateral to a degree because. . .well, it’s McKinsey, but I don’t want to come in too low salary wise and somehow undercut the value of the experience and the roles I’ve already held (VP/DVP). Unexpectedly leaving consulting for industry. Background isn’t in apparel but got an offer to join a large international apparel company as a product director and decided to make the jump. Current TC is $183k with annual bonus between 10-20%. New TC will be $200k, $50k signing, annual bonus of 15-40%, and progression path to VP. Will also be managing teams around the world, so opportunity to travel internationally, which is a perk in my book.

I often hear numbers that partners start to earn 1/2 mil a few years after making it to partner.
What’s a ball park equivalent title for a f50/f100 (non tech) company that gets you to a similar comp. I am a director at an f20 (3 positions away from VP) and 5 from c-suite and I don’t anticipate making more than 400k in another 10 years even if all goes according to plan.
Ps I know the consultant answer is it depends but just trying to get some perspective.

Life as an EM had been good for past 6 months but I can see next year being crazy due to attrition, team constraints and growing demand. Quite keen to get out of consulting and have sensible WLB. I have an offer to join as a strategy mgr at a relatively mature FS org reporting into VP of strategy (who reports into the CEO). Comp is okay but I am concerned that this may be a bit junior? Also not sure if EM to individual contributor is a big step down or a norm when you move to industry?

Anyone have a salary range for middle market VP on Ops team?

I work at a boutique (currently ~14 bankers and 10 back office roles).

Joined in august. Since august, 3 senior bankers (MD / VP) 1 HR director, and now 2 analysts have left for great opportunities. To be honest I’m happy and like my role, plus it’s too early to think about switching firms already.

I am now the only analyst left, we have another one joining in January. Any advice on how I can leverage this for comp discussions at the end of the year?

Post MBA associate at mck. I got an offer to join a MM fund with ~$2bn as an associate with a path to VP if performing well. Comp is similar to what I am making although higher % is bonus Vs salary. Not sure whether I should take it. Very interested in PE but doing well at mck and have a lot of momentum. Not sure how i feel starting as an associate again at same level as younger ppl who are way less pedigreed and have less experience.

I'm a 3 yr manager (Tax) at EY and think I'm in zone for promotion to SM next year. Current salary: 157k. But I just received an offer to be a Corporate VP with salary of 190k. EY has higher potential comp for those on PPMD route, but honestly, I'm not much for selling which is what I'm seeing my job entailing more as a SM. I think I'd prefer the Compliance job, but I'd miss my EY team.

Feeling split. Thoughts/advice welcome on how to evaluate choices.

Fidelity I shares (for employees at VP level): What percent of total cash compensation could one expect to receive from these shares? % range perhaps? I know it also depends on how long you’ve been with the company, and feel free to add color on that.
