It's been incredibly frustrating lately trying to job hunt because so many postings on Indeed and LinkedIn just feel like scams. I'm wasting a ton of extra time I don't have trying to tell what's real and what's fake. Are there any reliable places where I can find legitimate job opportunities?

I always like to apply directly on the website. Sometimes job boards are outdated anyway, and you can only tell if they're still hiring by looking at the website. Always verify that the company is real and that they have a real job listing for the position on their site.

I am with you on that. The job hunt has been painful. There are so many ghost postings or scams and sometimes it is hard to differentiate between the two.

That’s exactly how I feel. I try to avoid applying to jobs that don’t have clear company info or that ask for too much personal data upfront. LinkedIn and Indeed can be great, but pairing them with networking and industry sites really helps to narrow down legit options.

If I see a post on LinkedIn or indeed, I typically just go directly into the website to apply. That way you’ll know if it’s legit or not.

Anyone a manager? I’m recently diagnosed (26F) and I can’t help but beat myself up everytime I fall short of my to do list. Makes me feel like a huge disservice to my team. I’ve been trying vitamin D and working out, but it makes my “highs” and “low” SO extreme. The simplest things are so complex in my mind.

If anyone feels similar, how do you manage these feelings? I’m personally considering switching to an individual contributor role, but can’t help but feel like a disappointment if I do.

Anyone switched from Becker to Wiley and regretted it? I did and though I appreciate the bite-sized lectures, I don't enjoy it as much as Becker. My access for Becker expired already and I don't want to spend 2k again 😭 such a tough choice to make but I feel like I'm not getting what I need from Wiley.

I’ve done PI work my entire career for over 10 years. I’ve worked in state and federal courts and I’ve traveled around the country doing MDL work and bellwether trials. I hate this profession/career more and more each year. Has anybody been successful breaking off on their own in recent years? Advice?
