If with the wave of a magic wand you could change one thing about your career, what would it be?

I am from New York and was working towards getting a CPA in New York because I went to graduate school in New York with 150 credits, but my family wants to move to California. Is it easier to just get my license from New York so that I can be a CPA in California or is it a different process? Any advice or links is much appreciated.
