Hey guys. I have been applying to Amex for the past 1 year. Tried applying on the portal, through referrals and even hr consultants reached me regarding the roles since I have a relevant profile. But not once have I been shortlisted or called for an interview. What could be the problem?
PS: I have gotten calls from every other company for the same profile but not amex. Can't be a problem with the profile. Seems something dicey which I'm not aware of.American Express

I'm in the same boat and am eager to see what others suggest. I haven't been jotting down my accomplishment as I go this past year, like I usually do. It's uncomfortable but I'm the only one who will advocate for me and I need to do that if I want the raise/bonus/promotion/etc.
State facts. "I improved realization by X%. I coached 3 team members. I led X committee and hosted 2 events. I brought in $XX new business." I find it easier to state facts. Also, I've been burned too many times thinking that my coach would vouch for me....so now I vouch for myself.
don’t be afraid to use chatgpt! i really word vomit all of my thoughts and feelings and it helps organize them. and it could also help ask you guiding questions if you can’t think of anything.
Change your mindset. Don't look at it as bragging, but see it instead as informing your superiors what you've been working on over the year so they know what you've been doing.
When I do these I shift my perspective and think of all the things that are annoying about my job and then try to put a positive spin on it when I lay them out. For example NO ONE WANTS TO DO billing/staff trainings/company events/work with ppl they don’t know, just to make a few. So I would spin it to be like volunteers, investments in others and building a strong network and team culture (blah blah blah etc).
Second the person who said to put raw thoughts in AI.
