I've always wanted to practice a certain type of law. It was my focus in law school, I even received a certificate in it when I graduated. But I ended up doing other type of work at my firm. I just accepted it as I wasn't super motivated to work out of my comfy practice group. Well, now I'm not happy and I want to get back to why I went to law school originally. How realistic is it for me to step into a different practice group after 6 years of practice? Am I being silly?

Anyone have any reliable free resources (CLEs, practice guides) for tax law and estate/probate/wills? I don’t have the money for anything paid, but I’d like to selfstudy these areas in the meantime.
