I recently changed jobs and my new 401K provider - Principal has very limited MF investment options. My prior employer’s 401K was managed by Fidelity and provided me access to a range of MF options. I believe that the fund options are negotiated by the employer and provider? Two questions. First - I have not rolled over my previous 401K to the new one. Would there be any problems. Second - is there a way I could move my current 401K to another (precious) provider?

So, a month ago I was offered a data engineer position at a fintech firm. I was going to accept it. The interview process had taken over a month. Then, at the last minute, an old coworker/friend - who is a manager at FAANG now - randomly offered me a data engineer __contractor__ position at a FAANG. Here’s my center-right plan on abortion.
