What type of coaching would help you most as an HR professional?

I’m starting to think there is a very dark side to marketing. My whole job is basically manipulating people into spending money, often money they can’t afford. I’m really starting to question my career.

Any insight for P&G sales roles? Professional segment of the business

I am a young graphic designer and my dream is to eventually set up my own agency. Anyone ever accomplished this? Was it hard?

How do you make your tradeshow booths inviting and interesting on a shoestring budget? We have a nice, nothing out of the norm, backdrop, our set up is properly branded.

Swag is hard to justify budget for, so we have pens and cool telescopic flashlights we give to people who fit our ideal customer profile or at least have a meaningful interaction with us.

Lastly, I bring Moonpies ... they seem to be different enough from what everyone else offers.

How are you handling this?

We are looking to restructure our marketing team (B2B IT services) and one of the questions I have is: how does recruitment marketing / employer branding fit into the marketing team?
Over the last year EB and RM have become increasingly larger parts of our team’s work, but it’s not part of the marketing commercial targets (just helping recruitment meet their targets). Are they completely separate in your company? Or part of the team and if so how?

I’m looking to carve out my career in HR. I have 2 years in a dedicated HR Coordinator role (essentially with Generalist duties) and 5+ years in senior level hospitality management. I’m interested in getting my PHR or getting a certificate in data analytics with business/HR focus. Thoughts on next steps?

Looking to implement DEI program that is employee led with guidelines from the HR Team. Could use some help or ideas on how to go about doing that.

So I’m currently entering the 4th and final round of an interview process for a sales role.. The final round entails a sales pitch presentation where I present either a topic or product that I can confidently convey a persuasive message about.

The actual topic isn’t what’s important as it’s more about then actual skills show cased.. I’m currently struggling to decide on an easy topic that would suit well - between the topic and then any other words of advise I can use some tips for this !!

Pretty sure the saga of the slave driven company has come to an end I’m the only HR person at this company. Friday I had full admin rights, and went to check email Saturday; account locked. Payroll/HRIS locked out. PEO service says no pending termination is on my file. Went to the office today to get my things just in case. Located in CA. Was about to report numerous violations too. All because I couldn’t solve 8 months of payroll issues in a day. 🫠 Good riddance, I’m getting a lawyer.

Considering looking for a new sales management role. I’ve only had “promote from within” sales manager roles where I started as an IC and continue to manage my book while selling. I’d like to make a switch and start in a management only role. Any recommendations on companies?

Hi all! I work in digital marketing / organic social. For those in organic social what platform do you use for scheduling posts, analytics, UGC, managing influencers etc? We currently use bizzare voice/curalate. I work for a national retail brand so we are posting 2x a day with tons of UGC and in house content.
