I’ve noticed some workplaces confuse being reactive with being responsive. Everything feels urgent, but nothing feels intentional. Have you experienced that difference?

I’m struggling. I left an agency I liked last year due to growth limitations and since then I’ve worked at 2 different agencies and can’t seem to find my footing. The first one seemed like a good fit at first but then it turned out to not be the best place for me so I left. At my current agency I feel super undervalued. I’m always raising my hand and offering to help where I can and no matter what I do, I don’t feel utilized or valued or part of the team.It’s really taken a toll on my confidence

Hi I just received an offer as Technical support engineer at Salesforce. But I'm working as a developer in my current organization in a non-Salesforce domain. Is it worth joining this role after sacrificing a Dev role in my current organization?

Is it good to join TCS or should I wait for couple of more years, cause of there re-hire policy.
I have 4.4yrs of experience and in TCS my technical rounds are clear but i am still waiting for HR round which is taking lot of time to schedule.

I’m a newer registered nurse (2 years) and want to get into remote work. I keep getting denied due to lack of experience but to even get the job I have now (case manager) the company knew one of my family members and they gave me a chance to interview because of that. For these remote companies where I don’t have connections how can I transition over?

My federal tax due is $5K and state due is $3K on TurboTax. I haven’t made any contributions so doing the standard deductions. Wondering if it would be even worthwhile paying a tax consultant or just bite the bullet. Filing jointly with a combined income of $270K

What do you guys think, do recruiters share the real salary/range or are they sharing the low-end range for leverage? Or both?

For expert witnesses/lawyers

I’m a former forensic scientist that left the field several years ago. I recently received a subpoena from a case I worked and suggested to DA to have evidence re-worked by the lab or stipulation. If I am required to testify (as an expert witness), I would need to book a flight, hotel, etc. My question is this: can I ask for my requested hourly rate, travel, and hotel to be covered when speaking with DA or is that “not how this works” as the investigator put it?

Is anyone heard the news that leaders got an email that avoid leaves for next 3-4 months bcz lots of work about to come (vese to humesha hi hota h par usse b jyada hoga) might be split is the reason??
