My company keeps telling us that budget constraints mean they can't match market salaries for the current team. At the same time, they're actively expanding the accounting department and bringing in new hires. Is this just a standard growth strategy that I'm not seeing the logic behind, or is it a clear sign that they just don't value the experience of the existing staff?
