Occasionally I will be asked why so many jobs in the last year and a 1/2 - aside from the market is awful - I have worked long-term contract roles and or assignments only, it kept me busy; I picked up a new skill - and I was able to make money so why not work- My last contract ended 2.25 & in the interim I am working part-time only doing the books for my family owned co - I am not sure if it is better to leave a GAP on my resume or add yet another temporary role to my resume .

I’m not sure right now what the better move is. A gap that you’d have to explain proactively, or the random roles where you are picking up skills. I would like to think it doesn’t come off poorly that you are taking on contract roles and then fulfilling said contract.

I'd keep it on your resume. Activity > inactivity. If you get the chance to explain yourself, this contract work shouldn't be held against you. It's much better than having multiple months' long gaps on your resume.

Just starting up a Airbnb Property Management business. I am located in New Jersey, wondering if corporate leasing townhomes , lofts, and or condos, (if accepted) would be well profitable in the water front area near the Hudson between New York and New Jersey. (Hoboken, edgewater, weehawken, etc)

What can you do if you’re getting interviewed by the same person who didn’t choose you in the first place?
Context: I applied for a position a while back and got interviewed, but didn’t go to the next round. I found the same position open again a month later at a different location and applied. Almost immediately, I was called for an interview, but with the same interviewer. What does this mean? Is this going to get awkward?

Got an offer from a startup for 19.5LPA.
Its base is 15L, and I'll be getting 124800 in-hand.

I have 3.5 yoe in typescript/react/NEXTjs fullstack. Out of which only 10 months are on a full time role, rest of time was freelancing.
I am also an open source contributor for some NEXTjs related tooling.

Is this a good offer?

I messed up my screenshare in a meeting with 2 colleagues and showed my personal email that had scheduling info for my onsite interviews with another company. I closed it but it was up long enough for them to see it. Now they both pretend like they saw nothing and I felt panic for some reason. How were your experiences when letting it out the bag early like that?

I no longer have access to the Microsoft bowl due to the change in work email address, so I thought I'd see if any Microsoft management (former or current) are in here. I'm looking to confirm that when potentially coming back on at Microsoft, the hiring manager will be able to see my previous connects. I had a great experience at Microsoft, and would like to keep that door open in my mind, though my last connect has what I would call unfair characterizations due to a unique chain of events.
