Ok dads, here is a potential curveball for the group. Looking for a recommendation on a lawnmower so my teenage sons can get out there and work in the yard. Have about one acre and a relatively small garage so thinking self propelled mower but not a riding mower. If it has the ability to fold up when not in use all the better. Anyone research this lately???? Or have experience to recommend??

I have a Honda push mower that I got from Home Depot a few years ago that was about $400.

Using a push mower on an acre will take them about 4-5 hours to do. My 1/3 acre takes me about 90 minutes with trimming.

I like to use the mulching function so I don't have to clean up afterwards

Can’t go wrong with a Honda mower like BA1 recommends above.

The other option would be to go battery powered but you might be pushing it at 1 acre. I’ve bought into the ego brand (blower, hedge trimmer and string trimmer) and have been quite happy with the battery run time. Plus if you have multiple pieces you can cycle through batteries.

I have EGO battery powered mower, self-propelled. There are better versions now.
Not a lot of noise compared to gas models and no exhaust to breath. Very little maintenance, no oil leaks.
To go with it, I have trimmer, edger, etc. For 1 acre, you might need an extra battery if it needs to be finished in one go

Just wondering about how is the WLB in HSBC account of Synechron, Pune? I am reading so much of pros and cons on Glassdoor and here. Some are saying the cons like Hire and fire are a FAKE news.

I have the highest offer in hand from Synechron with HSBC client. Please help me make up my mind whether I should join them or not..?

I have another offer with LTI as well but just a marginal difference in pay, and the Location is Mumbai. Should I choose LTI instead?

Please Help!!

I’m new on the job search and still employed. I’m looking to grow further in the logistics industry. Should I even bother applying when there are more than 100 applications?

How does everyone bill for family law matters? Do you always bill hourly or is there some flat fee, monthly or quarterly fee structure that could work, even in contested matters? I have cases that the clients end up spending $20-$40,000 on a contested divorce and this is really out of their budget. I feel that if my firm could charge a flat fee of $10-$15,000, it would still be beneficial from a client predictability and volume standpoint and would generate more referrals.

Also, how involved are you REs? I’ve been through 2 retrievals now, but feel kinda in the dark still on a lot of things. Some of the nurses are hit or miss and if I want to talk to my doctor I have to schedule a consultation and its typically a 2 week wait.
