JPMorgan Chase recently introduced a policy change to increase the notice period to 60 days. I'm a 602 and resigned recently and yet my LWD is showing up as 30 days from now. Anyone recently resigned can confirm if they are facing the same or new policy is in effect. This is causing confusion with the next companies I'm interviewing with.

Was scheduled for an interview today for a Director pos. early morning I get a Reschedule request to next Wednesday but I cannot make it due to personal commitment .
Called recuit mgr.to let him know and he tells me the director is very busy as she’s the IT. Dir for the whole org.politely asked him to send her availability other than next Haven’t received anything since then . Wondering if such co. Is worth pursuing that doesn’t value others time and that too a replacement pos for the same busy role 🥹
Job-Hunting reach-out to VC from previous fundraising effort for own startup
I have e-mail archive from 1y ago of my reach-out to 65 VCs in London: we had video calls, they might remember me still, who knows.
I want to send a reply/forward message to the same e-mail thread from abc@gmail.com, saying that I am looking for roles within their VC firm. Is that a good idea?
Or shall I just start new email thread and mention how I know them?

It really boils down to preparation, qualifications and fit, as well as a numbers game. Seeing applications come in I can tell you that usually half can be immediately filtered out as they don't have the qualifications posted, so having that and relevant experience will help you get the interview. For the numbers game part, if it's 1/100 to get the job and you're properly qualified, then it means with 100 applications you should get at least one offer.
I appreciate this! I’m someone who has years of experience but no degree. And now since the whole supply chain boom, a lot of companies want degrees in supply chain. So I’m currently working on certifications in the industry. Hopefully once I add my certificate I will get more bites!
I would network and connect with connections on LinkedIn at those companies. Referrals always help you in the process. Supply chain degree is obviously nice but there are other parts of a candidate’s background or even educational opportunities like the CSCP that can get you over the top.
Separately I know MIT has a niche supply chain verification as well in addition to the CSCP.
