I truly believe the majority of jobs could be done in 4 days vs. 5. I’m at work to work, and some days I’m pressed to find something to do. I think as a whole people would be more productive with fewer days.

Absolutely! I am currently on a 4 day work schedule but I end up working a couple hours on the 5th day most of the time. Just having the flexibility to make my own schedule on that 5th day makes such a difference. It’d be that much better if I actually got the full 3 days off consistently!

as an analyst how do I network and maintain connections with external orgs (clients and more so buyers) after the deal has closed? I have their contacts of course but do I add them on LinkedIn after? Is is better to maintain connections w the junior team and how should I go about it w senior management? This is for general networking not that I’m trying to hop to a PE/other org immediately. TIA!

Riddle me this Batman: Im told that I can bill X amount for X task but no more, or warned that I may not plan and prepare for certain things even though I do (lost time) Exhibit A: Can’t bill to plan and prepare a motion or pleading, plus bill for the drafting of the document. Seems not grounded in reality to me.

So I have my bachelors in criminal justice and I just finished my paralegal certificate course today. My attorney should be making partner this year. With that being said I told her that I would complete my certificate by the summer around the time she would make partner. Should I mention to her Monday that I completed my paralegal certificate in hopes that the raise will be bigger or should I wait until June when she makes partner.thoughts?
