Need advice! I’ve worked in logistics for about 8 years and at my current company for 5 as a Logistics Coordinator (non management) making 57k with a raise due December for $3k bringing me to 60k. I’ve recently interviewed for a internal position that will be managing the Coordinator (team of 13). What should my asking range be? I have relocation experience but not management

How long to stay at a role, to expect a promotion? In Industry accounting. Is it dependent on level, performance, or is there a “taking too long” time where you need to quit unless your boss leaves.

Im in my second year of being a Site Manager, in total control of all operations on site.
Got my raise for the year, 5%. Everybody in the business got a raise of 5%, from the bottom to the top.
Next review is due July 2023. Can’t help but feel my raise should have reflected me being one year more experienced. Im a high performer so I’m annoyed that I’m still on 2-3k per year less than my job is advertised at by recruiters.
Is it worth having a moan/chat for the sake of 2-3k per annum????
I was told not to take off during summer & busy season if I wanted a promotion. My overall utilization was high but took a month off during non busy season. How would you approach this? I wanna quit!
What's the highest raise you've gotten? I've never managed to get more than 15%, but it's a personal challenge of mine. Most I've ever gotten was 9%. My companies have always made me feel like I'm "special" for that, but I have seen people talk about much much higher raises. What's real??
Can we raise request to get team’s recordings access in tcs by own.
If Yess than how???
With this year coming to an end soon, would it be appropriate to ask for a raise in my 3rd quarterly review (late Dec)? Or would I have to wait till my 4th one since I joined in Feb and had my first quarterly review in March? This is my first actual job out of college, and I’ve tried asking for a raise before while working at fast food places but all they told me was “no everyone gets paid the same”. I feel like I’m underpaid, but I took what I got since I was desparate for a job after grad 😬
What is the high end of the manager salary range that people have seen across firms? Particularly for an experienced manager up for promotion to senior manager.
Hello amazing people!

I told them I would update my JD for our next review with new tasks which I did. I am planning on asking for a raise because I am doing a lot more than what was on my JD. I am currently at 65k and I would like to ask for hybrid and 80k. What do y’all think?

So, I started watching “Limitless” with Chris Hemsworth. Apparently, he found out he carries both genes for dementia which puts him at a higher risk. So the series is about him changing things in his life for longevity. The third episode is about fasting and he fasts for 4 days until the day he has to hunt for his food. Does anyone in healthcare have thoughts on this type of fasting? I know it is done in some cultures and religions, but to what extent? I’m a nurse, I’m definitely interested.
Bahut kam karte hain log firm main, Bahut ghiswate hain, High workload lete hain, This is the time when you should also be thinking about yourself, your health (specially mental).

I’ve been actively thinking about lateraling back into biglaw after being in house for 2 years. I took a pretty big cut to go in house but have found I’m still working a lot of weekends and late nights. However, I just found out I’m newly pregnant. Should I put off taking any interviews until after maternity leave? Has anyone interviewed while pregnant?

Hi everyone, I just finished my masters degree a few weeks ago, and I’m looking for a new role. I obtained a bachelors degree in 2011 however that school closed and did not share records with WV higher education comission, neither are they at student clearinghouse. The school was accredited, during my time then lost accreditation a year after. (Mountain State University). Can anyone recommend how to handle this with HR if they can’t verify one of my degrees? Thank you!
