Seeking guidance on onboarding hold due to CIBIL update:

I cleared all interview rounds and received the offer letter for a Software Engineer role. However, at the last minute, my onboarding was put on hold due to a low credit score.

HR mentioned onboarding will proceed only after my CIBIL score improves. Since updates usually take 30–45 days after settlement, I have already shared the NOC/closure proof.

Do companies proceed based on NOC, or wait until the updated CIBIL score reflects?
