Today someone said, "HR's not really clinical, is it?"
Right. Tell that to the team we supported through a patient death. Tell that to the manager breaking down because they're burnt out and don't want their team to know. HR sees the mess no one else talks about.

"HR's not really clinical, is it?" Tell me you know nothing about HR without telling me you know nothing about HR. Who cares about whether or not it's TECHNICALLY clinical? We're still dealing with a whole lot more than these people could ever imagine.

like we're not dealing with people, conflict, burnout, safety, and legal risks daily. HR might not be clinical, but it's definitely critical

Goes to show how people don't understand what we do and what gets done behind the scenes. Let's hope they don't need support one day.
