I really like my firm and team, but the firm pays below market for the work that we do, wlb is crap like everywhere else. I am interviewing with firms that would pay more, e.g., T2 small and large. I’ve been a solid performer, very strong project and bd feedback. I’m up for promotion during the next cycle. I really vibe with my team, and I wonder if I can keep an offer or two handy to extort from hr comp match. Is it a good idea? Will it affect my relationship with the MD (salaried)?
