Was offered a reinstatement 35miles away 1hr commute after being terminated for informally “complaining” over a cops rude behavior in our dept. I spoke about it to a dispatcher and they went and told the Lt without my consent. I told them I wasn't going to complain and would give the officer the benefit of the doubt that he was having a bad day. My termination mentioned the complaint and said that and me calling for help to PD on the radio 4 times out of a thousand interactions. Is this fair?
