No they are def not the same. JD llm is usually 30-40k higher which is fair in my opinion
I agree that it would make sense at the beginning (during associate and senior levels). But I would think that it makes sense to even compensation out as the skill sets being developed are the same…
I only have a BS and a CPA. Once I got to SM, it made no difference comp wise.
I don’t think so. I used to hear that they did tend to even out by manager, but the non JD managers I know make significantly less still even as 3rd year managers.
