Hi folks! Recently became a fully remote employee (26F, single) and debating on what city to now move to (currently live at home in FL). My wife and I average $800-$1000 monthly on groceries for just us. Live in metro ATL. We cook a lot and mostly go organic on produce and certified humane on proteins, which is worth the extra cost to us. That said though, is this an insane amount to spend on groceries?! What do you spend?

If you spend anytime on this bowl it’s pretty easy to feel like you are behind in your career. Always someone with less YOE making more than you. I was hanging out with some high school and college friends who coaxed my salary out of me (I don’t like talking money with friends - we all took different careers and we have different salaries; but I don’t want money to drive us a part) And they gave me a good reminder that we (consultants) live in a bubble and are very fortunate.
