I wouldn’t respond myself. I’d do what Training and Development Manager 1 says. Goes straight to legal or whoever would be best to handle that. When people start making claims, it’s best not to involve yourself further.
I forward complaints like this to Legal. Our Chief Counsel lives to respond to these sorts of things. Although I can think of only two such instances in the last five years.

I agree with TDM1 and SM1, forward that to Legal. Even if they don't feel the need to take any action on it, it shows you're mindful of the ethical and legal implications of their accusation and covering your due diligence bases.
Don't go anywhere near this. Like others said, straight to legal. Do not have any communication with this candidate any further unless you are instructed to by legal.
All you can do is ignore these type of feedback. If you did nothing wrong then there is nothing more you can do.
