What do you consider a good salary based on work experience? I was discussing with a senior, and he said after 5 years salary should be at least 50k, after 6 years around 60k, and after 10 years close to 100k as a basic benchmark. Do you agree, or does industry, location, role matter more?

Looking for new opportunities in CRE in NYC. Valuation, underwriting or something similar. Significant experience with ARGUS Enterprise, just finished a Python/data science course. Interested in talking to REITs but open to talk to anyone needing my skill set outside of traditional appraisal.

Curious what’s a fair salary in MA? Was just told that there is likely not going to be a chance for a raise during my upcoming performance review due to my salary already being “above average for the industry” based on my employer’s questionable research. I’ve been with the company 8.5 years & am the only one in my role, which they can’t operate without. I execute tasks from two investment advisors and two financial planners - they make the decisions of what should happen & I make it happen.

Does anybody know what the typical salary range is and total comp for someone starting out as an internal or external wholesaler? If you are one of these, can you share about your experience in terms of whether you liked it or not, work life balance, travel, etc?

I have an offer and want to negotiate

1. London base salary but I have to absorb all the expenses (train + stay)

I know that's depends on the amount I have to travel (and potentially stay) but at the moment this is unknown. Past 8 months was just twice a month + 2 nights stay.

The only thing I know is it won't be every week, the return trian ticket is about £80-100, depends I could plan ahead.

I am a registered sales assistant which means I have my series 7. I also have the 63 and my Life & Health license. I was a financial advisor but the role is commission only so I decided to take a role as an assistant for some time to learn etc. I really like my role, but I only make 32k a year and after taxes I only take home about 25k. I have a gut feeling that I’m not being paid market value but it’s tough to find comparable salaries. Do you think $15.38/hr is a fair wage in this case?
