I try to assess what’s making me feel burnt out. I now take micro breaks during the work day since I previously found myself jumping from virtual meeting to virtual meeting which isn’t sustainable. I also regularly schedule time off to just relax in addition to longer periods of time for travel.
When I find myself starting to feel forgetful I realize I'm getting close to burning out. It's like I've got too much going on, too much to remember, and I start to feel distracted all the time. Like it's all happening at once! That's when I know I need to calm down and relax and take a break.
