Is it just the holidays / am I just being naive and didn’t get the job? Interviewed for 2 positions at Citi (final rounds were the week of Thanksgiving). John Deere Financial was a great company to work for until you take their Voluntary Separation package & leave the company. After 24 yrs at the company, was ghosted by HR when I had questions about the package. No exit interview. Just an email letting me know to turn in my work equipment or face having to pay for it. Treated like garbage by management. The pandemic lead the organization to offer the packages & they threatened layoff if packages not taken by employees. Horrible experience
Haven’t had to interview in a while - what is the typical recruitment process like? How many interviews? How long does the process take? I’m looking at a career move (but staying sell side).

Looking for advice! I’ve been in the banking for approximately 10 years in risk/Compliance. I left my role several months ago and I’m having trouble landing a job in the banking sector. Hiring managers say the interviews went great but then crickets. I am feeling that this is no longer for me. Would a career coach help me pivot to another career. I keep falling back to what I know and it’s no longer working. Thanks

Any potential openings at your companies for fresh grads?
I've got a PWC FDD case study interview soon. Any tips on how best to prepare/what to expect? Hi has anyone interviewed with, worked at, or currently work at CNA Insurance? I’m looking at making a move (as a Sr Consultant) and want to hear your experience. I don’t know if I can trust Glassdoor these days as it’s usually HR people posting. Thank you!
Had a 2 week work shadow experience at big firm when I was 15 (shadowed a relative and got to help a little, no formal internship or anything). I am now applying at the same firm, with 4.5 years of experience in similar roles.
To include the work shadow experience briefly on cv or not?
Thoughts on Citi's Leveraged Portfolio Group at the Analyst level? I'm curious if anyone has additional details on the group for an Analyst spot. What does the group focus on in terms of work, what are hours like, decent exit Ops, interview process etc? I'm currently an Analyst in an industry specific Corporate Banking group at a competitor of Citi so I have experience underwriting HY transactions and portfolio management.
I applied for a position recently at a major retail financial company. I had three interviews and now I’ve been ghosted by the entire hiring team. No notice saying they are still in the interview process and no rejection letter. I have no idea why the company would do this. Any advice for how to cope?

TL;DR for Fishbowl - I was making six figures in Finance but hated it for the most part. Made the leap to Recruiting ($60k base) and have been killing it, but we don’t make commission and our quarterly bonuses haven’t been paid out for two straight quarters. Should I move on to a new place (have an offer likely coming this week), stay here and hit the year mark, or jump back to finance (had a final interview yesterday, at least $20k more on base)?
Hello , I’m interviewing with Ogilvy for finance role . Has anyone interviewed with this company that can give some insight of what to expect or has anyone worked in finance department at Ogilvy how’s the environment and the culture ?
Hey all. Going in for an interview with DTCC this week and a second interview next week. Does anybody works there and would happen to know the salary for a Senior Associate in Risk? Over the passed 2-3 weeks I’ve been actively applying for jobs between linkedin / indeed / company career sites to no avail.
my applications have not been tailored to any one service line, as I have many different interests that I consider exploring. I’ve sent out a good 40 applications. Seeking roles such as investment/credit analyst/financial accountant/operations or big 4 FAAS or audit. Have even taken advantage of referrals and the only news I have heard back are rejections.
Currently relationship banker and have an interview scheduled for small business banker job with BOA. Does anyone have any advice or expectations to the process or what I can expect?
Had an interview with BlackRock for a VP role exactly 3 weeks ago today. The recruiter told me to follow up weekly. Last 2 weeks I’ve sent an email to follow-up. No reply. Getting sort of pissed off. This was supposed to be a role where I was to receive a second interview. How do I politely and respectful tell the recruiter I don’t appreciate being ghosted like this without them risking saying “okay we’re not giving him the second interview now”?

What’s your take on interviewing for roles that are in the proposal stage (not funded)? Do you go through the interview process? I come across so many of these positions, Idk if they’re just trying to use good resumes to win bids or whatnot...
I'm so frustrated. I've been working for 10 years and I can't get an interview for Senior AD roles, but I get tons of enthusiastic calls for Intermediate ones. Im doing the work of a senior now - concepting alone, working direct with clients, guiding the odd junior - and I do a lot of stuff for the community at large that shows leadership (like conference stuff).
I've had CDs review my book and they say my work is great. Why can't I land a senior job? I want to manage, I have good ideas. WTF?
I emailed a talent manager 3 times over 4 weeks and received no replies. I decided to get friend at that agency to refer me. It got through and I’m set for an interview. I know I shouldn’t but...
I had a second round interview for an industry job this week and it went well. I am hopeful I might get an offer from them. However, i am currently starting a large client audit starting next week and I’m the only senior on the job. Do you think it would be bad to leave as this new client is starting?
Having a first call next week with a Facebook recruiter for a Tax Manager position I applied. I haven’t had any interviews since college so I’m excited but nervous at the same time.
Do recruiters ask any behavioral questions or questions related to Facebook’s mission/value? I expect that for next rounds but wasn’t sure if the recruiters might ask those or not in the first round.
Any insights would be appreciated. Facebook

Need some encouragement. Left consulting a few months ago to go to a startup. Took a major pay cut, only to be included in some layoffs last month. I’ve been applying for jobs well within or below my expertise/leveling and can’t even get a call back. But I’m in the offer stage for another Startup, I don’t even want to entertain the offer because of this experience at a startup.
Initial recruiter call went great, the recruiter wanted to proceed and said I would receive interview scheduling information soon. That was last week. Given the long weekend and busy recruiters, how long until it is appropriate for me to follow up?
I interviewed for a role and the hiring manager really liked me (recruiter forwarded an email), but they already gave an offer (my interview was last) to someone else and the person accepted it. The manager reached out saying they wanted to create a new role for me. I am supposed to come in for final interview w/ CFO (I gave the dates that worked for me) and now suddenly the hiring manager drops off/ I’m ghosted. Thoughts? It’s been about a week since we last chatted, but I’m getting a bad vibe

I'm a budding UX Designer with no exp in the field besides one client project and some school ones. However, for 5+ years I've been a part of User Testing groups and have participated in user research interviews for different companies like Lions Gate, the Canadian Government, Pinterest, etc. I did it to make a little bit of pocket change, but it ended up teaching me about how user researchers collect data and what types of questions they ask.
Would it be valuable experience to put on my resume?

Hi Ladies! I’m a sales rep for a private duty non-medical Homecare agency and when making cold visits at hospitals or clinics to introduce myself I’m often not allowed in. It seems that due to covid they aren’t allowing un-scheduled visits and since I’m new to the area I don’t really know anyone. Anyone experiencing similar challenges? What other ways can I get my foot in the door and meet the key players to begin to establish those relationships?
