What is rough salary range for TR3, TR4 and TR5 bands in Thomson Reuters? Is it largely a fixed range or does it depend on factors like current CTC, MBA/Non MBA and other factors?

I just got a job offer for an Entry Level Software Engineer at Boeing in Saint Louis. The salary is $82,000 with an $8,000 sign on bonus. I was hoping for an offer closer to 90k base and I don’t care too much for a sign on bonus. However, this is a lot more than what I’m making now, and would be my first SWE job. Should I counter? If so, how would I go about doing that? Thanks!

Hi Fishes, I was hired by Optum as Tableau Developer in June 2021. One year passed and I was just doing support and maintenance work on Tableau dashboards (no new development). Now the company wants me to work on Power BI and convert all dashboards into it. I want to make my career in Tableau and I don't want to work on Power BI as I find it hard as compared to Tableau also less interesting. My last company also does the same thing so I left that company within 6 months. Optum

I’m 40 and recently transitioned to UX/Product Design. I completed a bootcamp, continue to improve my skills. I network, have coffee chats, attend virtual events, iterated my portfolio and resume.
