What is the hardest part of being a solo HR manager (with no team)?

Ok, so I've been doing HR solo since the beginning of my career (it's a short one so far). I've had great mentors but it is on me to manage all things HR.

What are the most difficult topics in your opinion? What are the "make sure this is accounted for at all times" things you'd point out?

Looking for some help with self evaluating my processes.

I have recently received an offer letter from PwC and have signed and accepted the offer (via Workday portal).
Now when I check the tasks against the job on workday, I can see no tasks pending and under completed tasks: a green tick against 'review and sign offer letter (step complete)' (and I can see the offer)
I am told that I would receive onboarding emails from HR, but I haven't yet.
My DoJ is in the fourth week of July. When do we generally expect these communications?

What is considered a “large” caseload in employment litigation? I work at a large L&E boutique law firm and handling about 14-15 active litigation cases in state/federal court or arbitration. Some of these matters are multi-plaintiff and multi-defendant cases, but none are class actions. This does not include any matters I am handling in the charge stage or in pre-litigation. Not sure if that’s a typical caseload or not?
