Is it just me but are recruiters/hiring managers updating job postings to include salary range since this became the law? I've had to withdraw some applications because postings are being updated. I'm happy for the insight but kind of bummed that a few jobs I've been interested in, won't work for me after all.

Any advice for approaching a maternity leave conversation when my company has no policy, no HR dept and I have no contract? I’m a partner shareholder in my company (we’re not in the US), 19 wks pregnant. I know the time off and pay I’d like to negotiate, but my partners are male and weird about money. I’m underpaid in a very senior 6 yr position, my job is stressful and around the clock, so I want proper leave. I can’t afford childcare and our govt stat leave is terrible, it won’t pay my bills.

I’m pending an offer from Visa Inc for a Senior Director role and want to know some guardrails. The recruiter informed me in our very first call that Visa “doesn’t pay cash to bring people on” and alluded to not offering a sign on bonus or RSUs. This is very strange to be competitive in the tech world. Would love to hear input into pushing for both equity and sign on as part of the offer. Thanks!

Question regarding a potential writing sample for a lateral real estate associate position - I have a memo I drafted for a client discussing development options for a property based on analysis of city zoning ordinances. Can I use this without my current firm’s approval if I modify information related to the client and the property? And should I also modify the city name and zoning ordinance citations as well for confidentiality purposes? Thanks!

Curious what Salaries are for Account Managers with 6 YOE and two different territories for the last four of those 6 years. No commission/bonuses ever given and no promotions since I took the position 6 years ago despite speaking up several times. COL raises at 1.5% and I now make 70k but at the top of my pay range. I’m starting to look for other jobs now because I’m fed up with having two territories without a raise for the extra work. I feel I should have been promoted to Senior AM long ago.

Could someone help me understand leetcoding in python. I’m solving BST problems and why do all the solutions use helper methods, and when I don’t use a helper method it doesn’t work as well. Do you have to use helper methods?

I’m in investment banking coverage group. In New York City, can you be a part-time real estate agent if you are in investment banking front office( coverage group)? Whether have time set aside, technically are you able to do that? Friends in real estate agent in nyc easily make 300K with half of the year resting serving a niche market 2 years after college.

Gf brought up wanting to visit my family in my home city (SF) and seeing my childhood bedroom. I kinda just shut down because I didn’t see this coming and I grew up poor. In the past year, my mom and 2 siblings downsized again to a 2bd1bath. When I go home, I share a bunk bed with my brother. She always knew I grew up first gen low income but I don’t think she expected this. I’m insecure about sharing this with her. Any experiences with dating someone from a very socioeconomic background?
