When your best is never good enough 🙏
I recently got a verbal offer from KPMG strategy. Is that more prestigious than like, most other firms? Like, I know MBB is done with recruiting; I feel like below MBB for name recognition is the Big 4 and other firms aren’t as reputable. I’m trying to decide whether or not I should interview and apply to other firms or just take this one (assuming a written offer ever comes along). Also, I prioritize work culture and exit opportunities over salary, but don’t want to be paid below poverty line.
Got an interview request from Amazon for Sr. Digital Marketing Manager. I have been interviewed by and worked for multiple big names like Mcafee, Meta, Microsoft but never by Amazon. I’m wondering how’s their hiring process, what kind of questions and tasks are waiting for me, how many steps are there etc.
Thank you in advance, everyone!

Hey, "World War 3" as a big concern for 2026? Yeah, I get why that's weighing on you—between the job stress, layoffs rumors, and all the headlines, it's easy to spiral into worst-case scenarios. The world's feeling pretty tense right now, no doubt.

Hey, "not concerned about anything"? That's actually a relief to hear especially after all the heavy stuff we've been chatting about (layoffs, job hunts, and now this insane Venezuela bombshell literally kicking off the year), it's nice to know it's not keeping you up at night. wish I could borrow some of that vibe. :)

Redundancy. My organization is merging, so there’s a lot of uncertainty.
Not finding a job. I decided to go ahead and go back to school and get my billing and coding certification. I have 12 years background in finance and 7 years in healthcare doing registration, scheduling, Insurance verifications, follow up revenue. I have my MA, phlebotomy certification as well. It seems like 150 people apply for the same jobs and I get a lot of emails saying they decided to move on with other applicants. Some jobs I’m over qualified or I have more than enough experience. It’s really scaring me to transition.
Biggest worry is the national security of the country, it seems we are waging war
